YouTube’s ‘Take a break’ reminder is a boon for many YouTube watchers in the world. It is a given that a video blogger, it is sacrosanct to watch a number of videos to derive inspiration. But as an end user, you should limit your time of watching YouTube videos. For a tablet, iPad, and web users, they have to wait for some time, as the feature is limited to the phones.

Before we go ahead, note that your break reminder will be paused if you pause or exit the video. Moreover, the reminder timer will be reset in case you leave the app, log out of YouTube, switch account or devices, or pause a video for more than 30 minutes.
If you have not updated YouTube App recently, you should quickly do it.

That’s all friends!
Now while watching YouTube videos, when you reach the time limit you have set, YouTube flashes an alert that it is time to take a break. I like this feature and particularly the image of a monkey hanging down a tree and holding a cup of tea or coffee. When the alert appears, you can take action there to adjust the interval time or to ignore it to keep watching your favorite videos on YouTube.
